JOURNALISM is about STORYTELLING.

Whether it’s through writing, photography, page design or video, your goal is simple: Tell the story.

So how do you do that?

How do you first FIND the story, then how can you best relay it to your audience?

MSPA is offering two regional workshops this fall that will help your staffs reach their full potential. At each workshop, students will have a chance to learn valuable skills from professional journalists, college journalism professors and other industry leaders.

Tracks include writing, emotional photography,  news/sports coverage, building a web presence, page design, multimedia, leadership, and hands-on labs for learning InDesign/Photoshop, and radio or video production.

All high schools are invited to participate, even if you’re not yet an MSPA member.

TO REGISTER: Complete the Fall Workshop Registration Form in its entirety and mail your registration fees to the address on the form. Make checks payable to MSPA/University of Mississippi at $16 per student (Advisers are free). All payments are non-refundable, but students’ names can be switched if needed. Breakfast and Lunch are included in the fee.
